About Nicole

Together with her husband and two sons, Nicole lives in her beloved coastal province of Zeeland in the Netherlands. After completing her translation studies in Maastricht and a few years working for a local TV channel, she wholeheartedly decided to pursue a career in translation. During her time working for a translation agency in England’s northwestern county of Lancashire, close to Liverpool, she learned the ropes and fell in love with the country and its people. She also enjoys making long and frequent travels through France. As fascinated as she is with everything to do with languages, she truly found her dream job. She loves the challenge of finding exactly the right terms, words and tone of voice and making sure every translation is a perfect rendering of the source text.

Advantages of working with a small-scale translation agency:

  • Short lines of communication, direct contact with the translator, without intermediaries.
  • Not paying for (costly) intermediaries or large offices
  • Your projects always carried out by the same person, consistent results, without differences in style, word choice or used technology
  • Reliable, always knowing who you are dealing with: a person instead of a large anonymous office
